Dear working-class people and democratic forces!

Our country is entering into a dark age; Yes! The saffron fascist gang led by Modi, along the lines of Mussolini and Hitler, is frantically trying to abolish even the so-called democratic rights that exist and to establish an open terrorist dictatorship of the capitalists.

Fascism is not just religious/caste bigotry; moreover, it is an open dictatorship of capitalists over the working class, forcing the burdens of capitalist crises onto the people. This is why the capitalist class, driven by the recolonization agenda of Liberalization, Privatization, and Globalization (L.P.G) which has utter disgust for democratic rights, empowered the saffron fascist regime led by Modi. Their goal is to systematically dismantle democracy in a way that escapes notice in our country.

Since coming to power in 2014, the Modi regime has aggressively enforced the L.P.G. policies, filling the coffers capitalists, and pushing the lives of the working people into the grave.

The Modi regime has driven farmers to suicide at a rate of one every hour due to crippling debt, while writing off ₹15 lakh crore of unpaid corporate loans over the last decade. While this regime is collecting 1.5 lakh crore of rupees monthly from people, in the name of GST, but have slashed corporate tax from 30% to 22%. At the same time, subsidies and spending on education, healthcare, agriculture, electricity, and gas have been cut, and those funds being redirected to corporates as subsidies and capital expenditures.

L.P.G policies, madly imposed in name of employment and development, have intentionally resulted to the surging of unemployment rate from 35% in 2000 to 67% in 2022 among graduated youths. Due to this, woes like, over 46,000 number of graduates applying for sanitation jobs, the heart-breaking situation of parents selling their children for food has become a reality in the country.

Due to demonetisation, GST, increase in raw material prices, the Micro, Small and Medium enterprises (MSMEs) are almost on the brink of dilapidation. Whereas giant predators like Amazon and Flipkart have been allowed to loot the country by opening up 100% foreign investment in the retail business. Out of 125 countries in the hunger index, our ‘Bharat’ is at the 111th position after Nepal, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. Most of the country’s population is driven by unemployment, poverty and hunger. But the wealth of multinational and domestic corporates have gone up to lakhs of crores of rupees. An average Indian has an annual income of ₹2 lakh while the corporates like Adani have a daily revenue of over ₹1,000 crore.

The three farm laws – aiming to drive off farmers from their lands, livelihoods and enable corporates to take control of the agricultural and food production sectors; Four labour codes to deprive workers of their rights and enslave them; Electricity (Amendment) Act2022 to privatize power distribution to corporates and leave people in the dark; Ecology and Forest Protection Act Amendments to unbridled exploitation of natural resources and drive tribes out of forests and hills; The National Education Policy(2019) to give away the 10 lakh crore rupees worth of education market to corporates – all to establish the blatant exploitation and dictatorship of multinational and domestic corporates over the working class!

The Modi government has harshly silenced intellectuals, democratic forces, and journalists who oppose its policies. After securing a third term in office, it has implemented the three criminal laws that label those who resist as terrorists.

Already saffron fascists have been successfully infiltrated into every organ of the state, including the police, army and the judiciary and at present, the ban on government employees joining the RSS has been removed and the government machinery is being increasingly saffronised.

Also, fascists do not rely solely on the state apparatus of repression, such as the police and the military. It has built secret and semi-secret armed forces across the country in various guises like Cow Protection Force, Love jihad Force, Ram Sena, Hanuman Sena. This time, after Modi took office, the frenzy of these fascist gangsters has intensified all over the country. These forces which are launched against the Muslims and rationalist democratic forces today will suppress and oppress the working class tomorrow if they fight for their basic human rights.

This proves that the Modi government has shattered the hopes of opposition parties who believed they could not carry on their fascist activities unchecked, especially since Modi assumed office without a majority this time.

If we do not fight and defeat this fascist offensive, we will be plunged into a dark age. Those who brought Modi’s sting of invincibility to his knees were the farmers who fought against the farm laws; It is the working-class people of Tuticorin who chased the destructive Sterlite plant out of the country by challenging Vedanta, which claimed that everything underground was its own. All these were/are achieved by people with their own hands without trusting any “electoral opportunist vote-hungry” party.

If such struggles were necessary to stop a few corporate schemes, imagine what kind of war we would have to fight to completely overthrow the corporate dictatorship! Yes, this is a war waged on us by the saffron fascist gang!
